Practically fresh out of drama school, Taron Egerton is already making a name for himself in Hollywood.

Having left RADA in 2012 with a prestigious Stephen Sondheim Society Student Performer of The Year award under his belt, the 21 year old then took to the stage appearing in The Last of the Haussmans opposite Julie Walters. From there the small screen beckoned and Egerton found himself cast in Sky1’s fireman drama The Smoke, with Jamie Bamber and Jodie Whittaker (due to TX in 2014). His next project will see him starring alongside some even bigger names; he’s reportedly on the brink of signing up to director Matthew Vaughn’s next film, an adaptation of the comic series The Secret Service, where he’ll play a newly recruited spy alongside stalwart M16 agents played by Michael Caine and Colin Firth. With an impressive succession of roles so soon after graduation, the future certainly looks bright for this young actor.
